

Simon is a rural business consultant based in Laurence Gould’s South West office. He graduated from Harper Adams University College with a first class BSc honours degree in Agricultural Business Development in 2009. He joined the company at the end of October 2011 having previously worked for a firm of agricultural consultants specialising in the dairy sector across Lancashire and Cumbria for 18 months.
He specialises in the provision of ongoing strategic farm management advice to rural businesses across the South West of England, incorporating livestock and arable farms, farm shops and equine enterprises. In addition to retained farm management clients, he also undertakes one-off business appraisals, completion of single farm payment forms, environmental stewardship applications and grant application projects.
He is a member of both the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants (BIAC) and the Institute of Agricultural Management (IAgrM), and is also currently studying part-time towards an MSc postgraduate degree in International Agribusiness and Farm Management from Harper Adams University College.
